I love my job!
I'm energetic, enthusiastic and hard-working. I enjoy working on anything from intricate decorative work to large-scale projects, and I'm committed to detail. My painting skills include marbling, wood graining, trompe l’oeil, ageing and texturing.
I'm told that I have the ability to grasp the ‘intent’ of a project, whether painting grimey grafitti for a film set or beautiful intricate paint work for interior design projects - and everything in between.
I started in the theatre as a scenic artist, then moved to London and spent many years painting sets for interior design magazines. I also worked in advertising and TV. Over the years I've worked on lots of projects in many locations.
My work is still as varied as ever - recently for museums and attractions such as Alnwick Castle and the Titanic Museum in Belfast, and for the BBC - 'New Tricks' and 'Arthur and George' And much more!
I have a BA (Hons) Degree in Theatre Design, and further training in graphics and illustration. I can use photoshop and Illustrator.
I have a CSCS card and an IPAF card.
